Our Prayer List
O God, we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. 2 Chronicles 20:12
As we come to a standstill in our daily activities, let us stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Use this time to pray fervently and earnestly that God will revive our spiritual fervor, return us to our first love and relieve us from the fear of this pandemic.
Let’s pray:
- That our local, state and national leaders will lead and act with wisdom, compassion, humility, and in truth.
- For the world economy and the daily provision of all people.
- For all health officials, researchers, inspectors, doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, CNA’s, home health servers, caretakers of the sick and elderly.
- For hospitals, medical facilities, mental institutions, rural health clinics, the Center For Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO)
- For law enforcement officers, fire and emergency first responders.
- For all military servicemen and women.
- For businesses, employers and their employees.
- For educational institutions, presidents, superintendents, faculties, staffs and students.
- For daycare centers, workers and children, assisted -living homes and their residents.
- For sanitation workers, cleaning services, warehouse stock clerks and delivery service workers.
- For our communication systems, electrical power systems, water supply systems, gas supply, transportation systems, technology and those who manage and service them.
- For those diagnosed with the virus, those recovering from the virus, and the families of those of who suffered loss of life because of the virus.
- That we will remain vigilant all areas of our lives while we are so engrossed in this crisis.
- For the body of Christ, community of churches, pastors and their congregations. That they will continue to be the light in these dark times as they seek to counsel and console their members and those who need a word from the Lord.
- Heavenly Father, we pray for these individuals and more in Jesus name, Amen.
