It is with enthusiastic joy that I welcome you back to in person worship at Jerusalem!It has been a long two years, but our God, who is sovereign and faithful, has sustained us and brought us through the many challenges we have faced.God has shown Himself mighty, therefore, let us give Him the glory, honor and praise that belongs to Him alone.Let’s continue to take the necessary precautions to ensure that we maintain a safe yet spiritual worship atmosphere.Your patience and understanding is requested as we gradually phase into a routine of ministry and mission.Periodically check our website for important information. Pastor’s Bio
Dennis M. Grant is a native of Jackson, MS and has served as pastor since 1999.
He is the 8th of 9 children born to the late Samuel and Helen Grant.
He and his wife Mae Bozeman Grant of Terry, MS, are the parents of three adult children, Ian, Morris and Samantha.
He attended Jackson State University and was a member of the JSU Sonic Boom of the South Marching Band. He received his B.A. in Christian Studies and Philosophy from Mississippi College, and a Masters in Christian Apologetics from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
He serves as 1st Vice-Moderator of the Spring Hill District Missionary Baptist Association
Executive Secretary of the General Missionary Baptist State Convention of MS, Inc.
and is a certified instructor of the National Baptist Convention, USA Inc.
He is also Co-Chair of the Faith Based Advisory Council for the JSU National Alumni Association.
Pastor Grant’s personal motto for ministry is John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
